Fresh Brewed Sunday: {The Word became flesh}

in Fresh Brewed Sunday

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
(John 1:14 ESV)

Jesus, God in the flesh.
He who spoke all things into existence.
Nothing was created that did not precede first from His mouth.
When He speaks, lightening flashes and thunder rolls.
When He speaks, peace comes and hope abounds.
He speaks words of truth,
He speaks words of hope,
He speaks words of healing.
He speaks to the deep places in my heart,
and my heart awakens and invites Him to come.
Do you hear Him speaking to you today?

I would love for you to join me for Fresh Brewed Sundays.  This is where we share a simple scripture with simple insight.  No heavy words necessary.  Feel free to use the button in your post (sorry, still cannot get the grab code to work).  Link up below!

    Good morning Barbie,
I have linked up with you today.
I love this verse you chose! When I read John 1 such deep, unexplainable emotions stir inside of me. To think, Jesus IS the Word is utterly amazing.

    God bless your Sunday, :)

yes, what a verse that breeds so much hope and promise.  Jesus, our King, was a baby, and came here just to redeem His people. it’s so humbling!

    Barbie:

Forgive me, I intended to link up with you, but I had a rather busy weekend and completely forgot.  I’ll probably take a few days off from blogging next weekend, but plan to continue my Weekend Reflections series after Christmas which I plan to link to you.

Blessings and Merry Christmas, my friend.
