Merry Month of Christmas Giveaways: Week 2

The winner of last week’s giveaway is Wanda at the Watered Soul.   Wanda, please email  me your address and I will get your book right out to you!

I am so excited about this week’s giveaway.  Anyone who knows me knows that I have a passion for art.  This giveaway includes three cards that I purchased from my very good friend, Laura the Artist.  All of the descriptions are taken directly from her website or Facebook page.

The first card is entitled “Arise and Shine”.

Oh, awaken me to Love Lord. As the sunrise awakens the dawn. This image came to my heart and mind a few days ago…an awakening and the scripture “Arise and Shine for your Light has come, and the Glory of the Lord rises upon you”. (Isa 60:1). It’s the encounter with the Glory of the Lord that we all need…that I need. The Light chases away the darkness of the soul and heals the places that we have tried to hide from. I have recently discovered in myself a particular place of darkness that I thought had been banished long ago…a remenent of pain that remained stubborn and silent. Aha! The Light has uncovered it and now it must flee! Freedom comes and continues to come. Arise and shine, for your Light has come.

The second card is entitled “New Atmospheres”.

This idea first came about from a photograph I took of bubbles inside glass, but as I painted on, it kind of took on a new life and feel. I saw Angelic Orbs in the thick tangible presence of God – movement in a new atmosphere and place – a heavenly realm and space. I know this may sound quite outside of reality, but the Spirit world is a reality…Jesus Christ is a reality…The Holy Spirit is a reality. I see this a prophetic declaration of the body moving into new atmospheres and heavenly places…glorious spaces.

The third card is entitled “Exploding Promises”.

This was done during a worship set on a Sunday Morning while Melissa Howe from Jesus Culture was leading worship at our church. I also painted this left handed. I was just going with the flow of the Spirit and my arm was zooming across the canvas..colors flying and dancing. By the end, this is what came out of it. An exploding rainbow.

Each card is printed on card stock, with a scalloped, bottom edge.  Each comes inside a protective sleeve with an envelope.  You can use these cards to bless someone else, or keep them as a constant reminder of God’s love for you.

To enter, just leave a comment below telling me how art inspires you.  (You must be a follower of my blog to win, so please let me know how you follow).  And just to clarify, there is only one entry per person that is counted.  And most importantly, if your email address is not attached to your comment, please make sure you leave one so that I can contact you if you win.  This giveaway will remain open until 9:00pm (CST) on Tuesday, December 13th.  The winner will be announced on my blog on Wednesday, December 14th.

What lovely art!!! I love art for what it does to my soul.  Some art can make me relax, rest, and breath, while some other art may stir within me those passions that need stirring or those gifts that need to be used. One way or the other art stirs the soul and for that I’m grateful! I’m follower and love your bloggy world!!!

Thank you so much! If you get a moment, check out my art (in the “my art” tab). No where near as skilled, but it’s from my heart back to His! Thankful we found each other in this big world of blogging!
