With March just around the corner, I can almost smell Spring in the air. I know it is still cold outside, with a chance of rain, but I can’t help but look forward to this next season in my life. For me, the beginning of Spring signifies hope and newness of life. It’s a time of looking forward, putting the dreariness of Winter behind me, and moving on with purpose into being the free and whole woman that God intended me to be.
For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. (Isaiah 43:19)
If you’ve been here for any of my Made to Crave posts on Fridays, then you know that I am on a journey of not only losing weight, but healthy living. The end goal of my journey is to be healthy. Weight loss is a bonus. I want to be well — spirit, soul and body. I want to walk with a fresh, new Spring in my step! One of the ways that will help me to to do this is to begin to make healthier choices about what I eat. I’ve done all the diets. Matter of fact, I just re-signed with a very popular one just last week. But learning to make healthy choices is more about a lifestyle than a diet. The program may get me out of the starting gate, but then it’s up to me to keep running with the changes. I have been doing a lot of praying and asking the Lord to help me in this area. One thing that He laid on my heart was to ask for the assistance of others. So I did, and the response was overwhelming!
I am so excited to introduce you to my new healthy living series here at My Freshly Brewed Life.

I want to make healthy living a regular part of my blog. I hope you will enjoy what I have to offer you these next two months. And yes, I will still be blogging, but just taking a step back to refocus as I allow these amazing women to share their heart and knowledge with you.
If you have any thoughts as to what types of posts you would like to see in the future for my healthy living section, please share. And if you would like to guest post in the future about healthy living, please contact me.
And remember to come back on March 6th as we kick off this series!
