A little bit about me.
My husband and I will celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary in August. We have four amazing kids (21, 18, 11 and 8), who all love the Lord and serve in the House of Prayer as singers and musicians/worship leaders. I am privileged to be employed there full time as an administrative assistant, where I also minister in prayer and on worship teams as a singer, and help to administrate our Children’s Equipping Center. Life is a balancing act, and I am not perfect. But I serve a perfect God who gives me the grace and strength to make it through each day
A little bit about my blog.
I began my journey of blogging about four years ago, at the encouragement of my Pastor who had recently began blogging. I have always loved to write and I thought perhaps this would be an online journal of sorts. But what I found was so much more. The Lord has used blogging to awaken my love for writing and for communicating His heart to women.
I am not your typical mommy blogger, but rather a mom who blogs. I don’t often share about my kids on my blog. They are older and well, the pictures are quite as fun to share! But I strive to be real, open and honest as I share my journey with Jesus here. I recently began sharing about “healthy living“, which will include recipe posts from time to time, as well as all things related to health.
I believe that each day is a freshly brewed gift from the Lord and that He has hidden treasures just waiting for us to find! I trust that as I share my life with you, you will find rest and peace in knowing that a loving God holds you in the palm of His hand. He adores you!

Awe, that’s great. August is the perfect month to get married. I tried convincing my daughter but she’s oped for June. 9 weeks. Yikes!
