I am loving the opportunity to intentionally pray for some of the bloggers who I have learned love. I just may have to make this a regular bi-monthly or quarterly feature here on my space.
Today, please join me in praying for a beautiful woman who I am so thankful to have gotten to know through blogging — Laura of Journey in Faith.
Father, I thank you for my sister Laura and for her heart to share Your Word with other women. She has encouraged my heart on so many occasions. I love the way she uses her on line presence to bring glory to Your Name.
I ask that you would fill my sister to overflowing with your peace and joy. She is so poured out — to family, friends, sisters in Christ. Would you come and pour into her Lord, filling every crack and crevice, so that she can pour out again? May she truly uncover the deep joy that comes from abiding in You!
Lord, you alone know the deep desires of her heart. I know that she yearns for more of You Father. So I ask that You draw her close, that You would commune with her and encourage her heart as she meets with You in the secret place. I can almost hear You saying to her, “My girl, I am so very proud of you. I have brought you forth for such a time as this. I am so pleased with You. You delight my heart”. Father, truly, Laura is Your heart’s delight. Would you help her to understand how very much You desire her?
Would you be with her family today? Would you bless her husband and may all that his hands touch bring glory to You. May her children walk in the knowledge of the reality of a true and living God and may they find their security in You and You alone.
Father I thank You for the light that Laura brings to so many through blogging. May You continue to give her wisdom and revelation, and open her heart to receive more so that she can continue encouraging the hearts of woman. She truly is a woman after your heart, one that desires to bring glory to You. May you continue to speak through her writing, bringing hope, healing and encouragement to those who visit.
Would you stop by Laura’s blog today and let her know you are praying for her?

I agree! I already realize that I don’t want anyone left out so may have to figure a regular schedule! I like that idea!
Barbie, I can’t thank you enough for this beautiful prayer! I read it first thing this morning and again now, and it has touched me so! I’m so glad to have met you this past year. Thank you for letting God work through you in your writing and your friendship, and for being such a blessing to me!
In Christ,
Laura
So thankful you were blessed Laura! So glad our paths have crossed through blogging!
