My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “LORD, I am coming.” (Psalm 27:8)
Over the last several days I have felt the nudging of the Lord to meet with Him. He sees my anxious heart. He knows my thoughts have strayed, He sees my eyes that are turning to other things. And the days come and go and I still don’t feel as if I’ve given Him much of my time. But the beautiful thing about the Lord is He never stops calling me. He knows what I need — to come to be filled in His presence. He desires me and longs that I would come and sit a while. I hear you calling Lord, and I am coming. Thank you for continuing to call, even when I turn the other way.

What a wonderful verse to ponder on. ‘Come and talk with Me.’ Sometimes I think about this and it’s like, ‘yes Lord.’ Then other times it’s like WOW God, He wants to talk with me!!
It’s wonderful to know He is always there wanting to talk and spend time with us.
