My Precious Child,
Can I tell you how very proud I am of you? I know that you do not always feel like you accomplish what you set out to do. I understand that you often feel as if you fall short and disappoint those you love. Believe me when I say that this couldn’t be farther from the truth.
I see your downcast eyes, and your heart that is broken in two. I see you striving to live up to expectations that you were never meant to live up to. You have a heart of gold — always willing to serve, always desiring to put others before yourself. But dear one, you were never meant to live up to such high standards.
Can I tell you something? You are NOT a failure! I see you. I see all that you do for yourself and those you love. I see all that you strive to do for me. But I want you to cease from your striving. I want you to rest in my love. I want you to understand that you are enough.
