Beloved
My Beloved,
I see you, standing there with your head bowed low, your eyes turned away in shame as you fear the false reality that you’ve built up within your walls. Do not turn your gaze from me. Look deep into my eyes. For do you now know that I see you? I see the depth of your heart. I see your brokenness, the hurt and the pain intermixed with the joys of life. I see dreams, buried underneath the rubble of “I should have”, “I could have” and “if onlys”. I see it all, for I am the God who sees you.
My beloved daughter, how you captivate me when your glance meets mine. Oh that you would give me your heart — your whole heart. I want that part that tries to remain hidden in the dark corners, those places where you have swept the crumbs of your life, afraid that I would not have them. I want that part of you. For I long to take the broken pieces of your life and make you whole, my Beloved. I long for you to feel my arms around you. I want you to experience My love in it’s fullness.
There is nothing that you can withhold from me that I do not already know. Will you give me your whole heart? Will you give me every empty place, everything that lies afraid in the darkness of your heart. For even those places I desire. For you are My Beloved, and My desire is for you!

That’s the cry of every human heart, isn’t it? To be truly known and loved. Only He can do it thoroughly, perfectly, absolutely.
